Upcoming Continuing Education Opportunities TeleConference Seminars idp has developed a pilot series of one-hour Teleconference seminars worth 1.0 PDHs/LUs-HSW to help fill in gaps where odd hours may be needed to meet mandatory continuing education requirements. For example, you may have met 34 of the required 36 hours of continuing education. These one-hour teleconference programs will allow you to complete the required hours without having to take an additional 6-8 hour full-day session. And, you won’t have to leave your home or office. The only equipment you will need is a telephone, and one hour of your time! In addition, these programs WILL count as “acceptable courses of learning” as there will be the opportunity for immediate interaction with the Presenter. Here’s how it works… Once you have registered for one or more programs in the TeleConference Series, you will be mailed the program handout and the “Dialing In Instructions” to a toll-free conference line, and a Passcode. From there a Conference Operator will answer your call, ask you for your Passcode, and connect you to the seminar. Once seminar participants are connected to the call they will be placed on “listen only” mode. An operator will be recording attendance automatically when participants connect and disconnect from the TeleConference. The Speaker will begin the presentation. At any point during the seminar, participants may enter into a queue to ask questions. Questions will be allowed throughout the onehour program. Once the program is completed, participants will be mailed their Completion Certificates. Conference lines may be shared within one location using Speaker Phone capabilities. A discount for additional Registrants at one location will apply. There are no TeleConference seminars scheduled at this time. |
